For those who like to dabble in DIY, Shine asks for a touch of creativity. Push the flaps inwards or outwards – whatever you like best – and simply choose the side you like most, because these lanterns are reversible! Once lit up, the inner side of the lantern becomes slightly transparent, giving it an enchanting look.

Each Shine set contains 3 lanterns. The pop-out cards are size 31 cm x 15 cm. The lanterns are large enough to fit over most drinking glasses and jam jars. Recommended retail price per set: EUR 7.95

Good news: Dutch Jurianne Matter will be at Pulse next week to launch her new group of paper lanterns!

Sofie and I love working with Jurianne, she is such inspiring and down to earth person. Come and meet her? She will be at our stand from 11 am - 2 pm on Sunday and Monday 5th -6th June where she will show you her latest product; 3x large paper lanterns. They are reversable too!

Three years ago, on Christmas day I received my first Cotton Bunting. It was my best present ever! WTwo weeks later it was my 7 years old Birthday Party and hang the bunting up. Totally excited she ran downstairs to find the entire living room decorated with the happiest bunting ever. Just for her! My mummy friends loved them too and that's why Sofie and I started our business 2 years ago and we haven't looked back.

Sofie and I met Dederick at Plus One Gallery in London Pimlico last year.

Diederick is a very successful upcoming artistin Holland with exhibitions in New York, Dubai and London.

He might be the next van Vincent van Gogh!

Diedericks next exhibition in London is on October 13 - November 06 2010.

The Zuiderzeemuseum in Holland

Whenever you are in Holland with your children, we highly recommend you to visit the 'Open air - Zuiderzee museum'. All the children can dress up in traditional Dutch clothes, like mine in the picture.

It's a beautiful village on the water and the children can really explore. www.zuiderzeemuseum.nl. It's absolutely fabulous - we had a great day out and learned a lot!

Campbestival 2009 and 2010

Last year Craig (my husband) and Charlotte (our daughter) went to 'Campbestival' in Dorset - Lulworth Castle. They had a fabulous time so we decided we are all going together this year. It is very family orientated with great music and lots to do for any age group. But most of all, Lulworth Castle gets turned around into a land of 'Flags and Bunting'!

We met Helen Nathan a little while ago at a fair in London. Helen wrote this lovely cookery/story book for children. She and Mc Dougalls (the flour company) got together and are offering in April a FREE copy of this original book when you purchase a bag of flour!

Helen has just finished her second book and the third one will be launched at the end of this year. It includes great 'Birthday cupcakes' recipes.

We, Saskia and Sofie received an ENGEL. bunting as a Christmas present and started using it for every birthday party (indoors and outdoors) and BBQs. We got so many great reactions from our English friends that we decided to distribute them in the UK. This was 18 months ago....
